In 1920 in Naples, the undisputed capital of elegance and haute couture for men, Don Eugenio Calabrese, a noble man who loved dressing well, personally chose "the tie of the day" according to his state of mind.
For Don Eugenio, the tie represented the most important accessory in the male wardrobe, he owned more than 200 ties.
For his impeccable taste, those looking for style advice turned to him. In 1924 he decided to open a laboratory in the heart of Naples, where tailor-made ties were made, with innovative models and refined designs.
A passion that becomes an art profession. Eugenio was succeeded by his son Francesco that began to export his sartorial creations abroad and to all european noble man, bringing a bit of Naples to the world.
It was with his nephew Gaetano that the company began to acquire international fame, the best boutiques in the world requested Calabrese products, the small tailoring factory turned into a beautiful laboratory with 20 tailors ready every day, to make ties for his demanding needs customers.
The processing phases were innovated, Gaetano with his father invented the current method of sewing the tipping on the tie, they sewed three pleats that still outline the tip of the tie today, in order to obtain a more harmonious square of fabric on the internal side of the tie and a more squared shape of the tip.
Geatano received great honors and awards both for the quality of the products and for his work, always putting craftsmanship first, respecting and always following ancient techniques and phases, and for the search for fine fabrics which he designed and colored personally. .
The exclusive and refined collections blended the timeless classic style with contemporary taste and colors.

In the 90s Annalisa Calabrese, Gaetano's daughter, began to work alongside her father to learn the family trade.
For years, father and daughter, third and fourth generation, have worked side by side, bringing their creativity and precious family experience into the world.

of her father, brings her creativity into the world, taking care of the details that make this accessory increasingly refined and comfortable.
